my car hates me

Man my car mush really hate me or some one really does not want me to drive it. I took two days off from working to maybe cool down some and not hate it so much. Well i go out today a start to weld a muffler on the end of my down pipe to make it a little more on the quite side. Well i start to weld , i pull my mask up and wow what the h--- there are flames every where. A spark must have cought the grass on fire under my car. Its getting bigger and bigger, i try to push the car off the ramps by my self and got lucky , when it want back the flames want with the car . By now my yard is on fire and its just me there, theres smoke every where and the car is on fire by the tranny and under the bumper. I run to my brothers next door [ jadams] and no one home so i grab his hose and run with it . I thought it was burning to the ground, it took about 5-10 mins to put it out but it want out. My shifter does not want to shft right and some vac lines are gone now but i hope that is it.


And all i have to show is one leg of burnt hair that smells funny. lol i must be crazy

At least you didn't hesitate to put it out. When mine caught fire, I was tempted to just walk into the house and forget about it.

I got your pix. For a car not to like you, you have a very impressive car (with the Spearco and now, with the Powerstroke).
I was going through the same thing with a project car. I finally said" WTF!" and left it alone for a while.... Later I started to slowly get it back..... Drink some beer , chase some A$$ ...

i wish i'd had time to come up there but for some reason i cant get caught up around here..

maybe i could set some customers cars on fire then i wont have to work on them.. ...but i need the money so guess i'll get back out there and get to work now..

Belive me , i was going to let i t burn but the nabors three cars are with in 10' of mine. I am going to put my tranny in the shop and leave the car alone for a little.

Thats ok reds iam getting my stall turned into a 3500 very soon and maybe i'll get it to the track one day this year.

I spilt another reducer and its running like junk, so i gotta get some better ones now , tranny go's to the shop next week .

I have the vett down the road and the 2003 cobra up the road now, man i gotta get this thing running. 12.6 stock i gotta see that , maybe show him some tail lights to.
