I have been reading that replacing the cluster bulbs may cause the alternator not to change of the bulb is not making good contact is that some that is true? Seems unlikely????

The issue was the idiot light volt bulb. Put a new 194 and boom the car starts., runs and has power. Glad I changed the starter! The mini starter sound a heck of alot better!!! Thankyou guys for all the help! This Grand national is more than just a car! My mom had a 87 Grand National in 89' when I was in the 2nd grade! At 34 now I have one exactly like it!!! with astro roof and all! Only thing missing is my mom had digital gauges and mine doesnt!!! My Gn has been sitting in the garage since 04 and now its out and ready to hit the streets thanks to info I found on here and the helpful input you all give! Thankyou!
