I'm working on getting my new combo done and ready for the nats.

At the minimum I'm going to the nats with the combo below except with a 70 turbo, 72# injectors, ATR external gate, DFI, 3"DP and a posi.

If money comes in like it should or if, by some mirical(sp?) Dave Schmucker gets me the heads back, I'll have a set of champion CNC irons on the car, a FAST system and a v2 FM IC.

Hopefully i'll be running on slicks... these nitto drag radials bearly hold on as it was with my old combo.

i'm shooting for a 10sec pass at the nats :P

Heres a pic of the turbo, and yes it WILL fit on the car ;)

Whatcah all think? :)

EDIT: thats a regular size business card next to the turbo. I will be going to a 3-bolt exhaust housing.

Holy **** that ting is friggin huge.....it's like Sputnik.

Holy headgaskets batman, you better use 14 bolt heads, and a stage 2 block. That thing is a monster.

was it only my eyes or does that ext wheel really have that much clearence to the housing?

Its the way the picture was taken. I am going to a .85 a/r 3-bolt housing to make hood clearance easier. The big flange on the 4-bolt would be a tight fit and I don't think the paint on my hood would like it :)

I'm making the bracket to bolt the turbo on later today if I get a chance. Pics soon..
