My new wheels

So, Here's pics of the new ride. It comes with a set of 17" Budnik rims in addition to the stockers and some other goodies....so, these wheels too ghetto? I think they look ok w/the chrome on the car and all, I dont think I would have bought them for sure, but coming with the car I may sell and use the cash for other sheat....

You know how I feel but I'll post it here for all to see. It's a great looking car and rare. Keep it rare and factory looking with the stockers. Anyone can toss on aftermarket wheels on a rare car which takes away from it's rarity. Keep it the unique car Buick made and keep it factory. How many factory GN's do you see running around today? Talk about rare....

I hear ya Dean. I'm pretty much of a stock wheel guy. When I had my GN I wanted X wheels SOOO bad. I got a set, put them on..and took em off in about a months time. Just liked the look of the stockers better. I'd like to get an extra set of rims to put some drag radials on I know for sure...so, these MAY come off.

I remember years back Joe I saw a really cool looking black limited with black landau and if I remember, blue pillow bench seats. Anyway, I dont know if its you, but a set of tru-spokes w/black wall BFG's on them looked really good on THAT car. REAL stealth. And the dark-to-chrome contrast looked really good. I dont think it looked Rican at all. Maybe you can photoshop different wheels onto the car to see what turns you on.

That car looks brand new! How many miles?
The rims bring it down, IMO. Would look better with stock rims to match the great shape of the body/interior.

well, just my opinion, but I don't care for the t-types. Especially with the vinyl top. Just looks tooo much like grandma's car to me. I prefer the Grand National. But, its your car if you like it, thats good enough for me. I wanted to get 17" wheels for my GN, but I then I thought, If I match up with a Cobra or something at a street light, I don't want to just sit at the light and annihilate the tires, I want to hook up somewhat. If I could get a 17" tire to hook up reasonably, I might get them, but I will stick with the 275 60 15 dr's for my street battles. my .02

WOO HOO! My "Sell and buy go fast parts" vote broke the tie with "Ghetto". Since I couldn't vote "Ghetto" AND "Sell and buy go fast parts" I'd like to officially indicate that I think you should sell them and buy go fast parts because they are ghetto.

But, they can really only truly be ghetto if they're bolted to a car whose value is less than or equal to 50% of the value of the wheels. So I think you're safe either way. I'd get a set of steelies and wire wheel hub caps for that thing and shock the sh!t out of people with it.
