My New Years Eve

We live in Orlando as my sig suggests. I had 2 of my brothers down from WI, with one's girlfriend. Our plan was New Years Eve in Miami with family and Key West the next 2 days. About 2 hours into the drive, me driving, i start getting terrible pains on my right side by my kidneys. Yep, kidney stones again, been 2 years since the last ones. Spent an hour at a crappy gas station not knowing what was wrong. Then decided to let my wife drive. Well about 5 minutes later she had to make an emergency stop on the highway so i could blow chunks next to the truck, which the a/c decided to crap out on. So we call an ambulance to meet us at an offramp. I can barely move, am almost in tears, cant take a good breathe it hurts so bad. The EMT's give me morphine to help, it does a little. Then i spend 4 hours in agony before anyone comes to check on me. Then more morphine, then finally a little sleep about midnight, the ambulance picked me up at 6:20 pm.
Anybody else have more fun than me?

In the Ghost Bar on top of the Palms hotel overlooking Vegas with Tito Ortiz and a few other people. Unfortunately most of my memories are in the form of pictures. The day after kind of sucked.

Believe he said kidney stones. Been there, did that back in November 03. Felt gypped on my ambulance ride as they didn't even hit the siren but the girl driving hit every bump in the road. Nothing like a wave of morphine but it really didn't help much.

Still arguing over who is going to pay the $600 bill for a 1 mile ride!

Yeah we hit every bump too. I am expecting the argument about the ambulance ride too.

I am doing ok for now. Thanks for asking. When it passes or they blow it up i will keep you guys posted on my pee pee probs.

8hr drive, back to Ohio, taking the girl with whom I had just broken up, back to her house...... not a fun trip! Was driving through Troy when the ball dropped.

Oh your from Lima, have you ever checked out Northwestern university? I want to take that high performance course when I get out of high school.

From Lima, but just moved to Decatur, AL. Northwestern is becoming known the world-'round. The locals in Lima have taken a quiet dislikening to most of the students, due to a lot of stereotypical bad representatives. A lot of the students like to talk as if they're Austin Coil, yet the drive the biggest piece of junk on Earth. Of course, that doesn't stop them from burning out at every stoplight...... so long as the road is wet! These people ruin the local reputation for those students who are actually bright and knowledgable. From what I've seen, though, it's a great school. I've seen a few graduates go to high places (Indy and Funny car pit crews, etc.)
