It happened thursday, he gets a call from a man claiming to be his nephew and somehow got my father to give a few names and guess who he was. The man finally says yes im your nephew oscar. I really need your help, im stuck in jail out here in california and needed $1800 dollars to get bond. Long story short my dad tells him that he would only be able to send 500 through western union. The person who was to receive it was supposedly a lawyer by the name of Griselda Carlos Acevedo. He makes the transaction and the money is gone and later finds out he was scammed after talking to family. The number is (331)322-1009 somehow the number doesnt receive calls. My pops is getting old! I seriously doubt he will ever see that money again.

Oh boy.
He will never see that money again.
I suppose be thankful he only had $500 to send.
The scammers work full time to develop the grift.
Gotta tip your hat to them - they put in a full 40 hour week doing it.

I couldn't even guess how much money these scammers must take from innocent people. I hope they get caught but when they do there's always someone else taking their place so its a never ending cycle.

The funny thing - if there is a funny thing - is that if someone called me and told me they were in jail - I'd be like - good.
Stay there.
And lose this number.

One of my customers got scammed. They said they were from a bank his daughter owed money to. He sent $300. His daughter never had anything to do with the bank. These people scamming should be shot

I really can't believe that people STILL fall for this crap!
My motto is: You will get your money when the judge tells me to hand it over. Otherwise I consider it a scam.

I think they should at least get their fingers cut one at a time to make them suffer, then they should be shot.
