Well this is not the first time but my car was referred to as a Grand Am. It was beautiful yesterday so decided to go and was my car at the car wash. Afterwards I was drying it off with the trunk, hood, and doors open. A guy walks over and talking as he’s getting closer.
Him: Is that one of those Grand Grand Grand now he’s looking right at the badge and says Grand Am?
Me: Grand National
Him: Oh you put a turbo on this one.
Me: Actually it came stock with a turbo.
Him: Oh this is only a six cylinder. The v-8’s were fast.
The guy was actually pretty cool just did not know the truths of the car. The next guy must have been from Maine or that area from his accent any way. He just “Absolutely gorgeous car”.
