Name That Ground Wire!

ok can someone tell me what this ground wire is attached to or rather what it is supposed to be attached to. Was checking grounds on my car and noticed that the one of the 2 by the battery was completly broken off!! Its the smaller of the 2 ground points and closest to the coolant reserve. There is no wire attacked to the ground point and i cant see where it may have come from.

I can't remember exactly where, but I believe it's part of the lighting system ground for the right front.

the problem is that the wire is completly gone and i cant see one hanging from anywhere. maby someone will run outside to their car and see for me maby if they are feeling nice today.
thanks for any help! trying to solve this engine bogg problem and iam thinking i may have found one of the problems.

It's a black wire w/ a ring terminal on it. It runs from the neg cable end to the screw on the upper/inner fenderwell at the edge of the fender.
It should be a star washer type ring terminal.

ya but what does it go to the neg battery cable? I think another one is already attached to the neg terminal wire.

Then it's likely this one!! Like Dave told you:

I just went out and looked at mine. There's two wires there. One is attached to the battery ground cable. The other is the lighting system ground for the right front. I don't know exactly where, but it goes out through the front of the support to the main wire loom in front of the battery, and dissapears in there. Exactly which light socket it's grounded to, I don't remember.

Ya i have those 2 grounds, hum i guess the one thats broken off is off for a reason hopefully it was just not needed b/c i have both of those your talking about connected.
