hello turbo heads; I've been under the weather lately so yesterday I watched alot of the NG channel. They went from factory to factory from building the Corvette to a unbelievable Bugati that does 253 MPH and is a street car. Everything on that car is top notch to say the least......A set of tires are like $17,000 with a life of about 6500 miles.....I was impressed with all the factories but that Bugati took the cake. I watched the Camaro, Vette., Ferrai, Lamborghni and Porche. I found it very interesting.
that is all

I have seen the Ferrari one. Trees inside the factory just seems a little over the top. They do a great job paying attention to detail and make some bad ass cars but do they really need trees inside?

Damn! I wish I could have seen that! Especially on the Corvette! If I weren't out cleaning my wife's Buick in the cold, (at least she didn't charge me for it) plus fixing my damn Jeep, I could have! I love watching stuff like that.

I remember seeing a video a while back, filmed from a moving car, of some sap driving one of those
Bugattis right into a lake! He calmly got out, STILL TALKING ON HIS CELL PHONE, and then called a wrecker, which came and pulled the thing out!

Talk about plenty of money!

hello people; Back to that Bugati I talked about. The shocks in the car uses oposing magnets and is american technology. The factory uses the best of the best and seeing that I thought was cool. Also the car uses a spoiler to hold the down and to help in braking as with aircraft and they mention that the car is more like an aircraft than a car. One more thing is that it can stop faster than it can accelerate.

I worked on the estimate for repairs on that car. Big scam. The guy who owned that also bought and repaired the Enzo that Eddie Griffin wrecked. I drove the enzo on and off the trailer for a pre purchase inspection. Neither car had a salvage title...the dude was sneaky.

The story on the veyron was he was distracted by a pelican. Thus starting the most epic "it was a pelican" thread on ferrarichat.

J it uses electro magnets and the dapner fluid has powdered metal in it. When voltage is applied, the metal makes the fluid more dense and resistive.

I think it was billed as "magna-ride" in the US.
