Whats involved with putting a 79 3.8 turbo in a 1986 gn... a lil backwards I know... is it easy or a lot of Mods needed... whats the major diff and whats really nvolved..? thanks in advance......

You will need a wiring harnest from a 79-83 with ECM/Turbo control
The short block is the same..well 14 bolt oil pan to 20 bolt, the new casting is a little stronger and better oiling. A set of 8445 heads and you can bolt up the SFI stuff to the 79 short block.
