I always worried about the USB cable sticking out into the foot well so did some searching and found an elegent solution, and I'll attach pictures.

Went to this site for some neat USB cable options:

then ran the cable under the ECM box to keep it out of the way.

However, since my laptop has it's only 3 USB ports on the right hand side I also had to find a solution for the other end of that cable

This cable is: A right angled A and right angled B
USBFirewire - USB 2.0 Device Cable - Double Angled - Right Angle A to Right Angle B
I can't remember if I got a 36" or a 72".

There is one open port in front of the above cable and my mouse adapter. I had to get another adapter for my Translator Pro hookup to resolve that issue and ended up getting a short male to female adapter with an UP angle.

Hope this helps some of you that may be a neat freak like myself.

NICE!!! Just installed my Powerlogger and was worried about the cable coming out and being stepped on.

Ya, for anybody looking to clean up their installs you can see by looking around that site that you can get USB cables with right/left/up/down connectors on either end, so you get virtually any combo you need.

I got the right angled B connector on mine down on the floor so the wire pointed forward and I could tuck in under the ecm holder as can be seen.
