...Because this one is way too rich down low. I'm running 009's in my '85, with the '87ECM conversion. I'm still using the '85 MAF. Should I bite the bullet and just get a translator, extender, and LT1 MAF, or are there chip burners out there who are playing around with this stuff? Would someone make a good 92 octane street chip that isn't rich down low and doesn't knock up high and works with '85 MAF readings? I'm using a standart Joe L. chip from some years back for 009's for a stock '87 MAF and it's rich and knocks and I think the fueling and MAF differences are creating problems. Any thoughs from our resident chip burners?

First of all Mike you need the correct MAF on the car.

Unless you keep the boost down, it will knock on 92 without alcohol injection or propane.

009's are a great injector, should run good with them.
