Ok we traded our 2007 Ford freestyle for a 2006 Town&Country and cant be happier, every bell and Whistle.the Van has 38,000 miles ,the original warranty ended at 36000,so I want to get some extra coverage, not sure if there is any power train warranty left on the T&C. So I want a bit of extra coverage, can anyone recommend something, they have a plan for $1800 for an extra 46000 miles and 4yrs,so is the $450 extra a yr worth it,or is there better

thnks for your help..Dennis

Aftermarket warranties usually aren't worth it, make sure you read all the fine print... They usually have a high deductable, most of them don't cover diagnostic time, and some of them only pay up to $50 an hour labor when most shops charge over $80 an hour... I'd just try to keep up on preventitive maintenence and find a trustworthy shop... Town and Country's have some problems with the PCM's, EGR valves, and power steering noise/vibration... They are all somewhat small problems and can be easily fixed if you have a reputable shop... Dealers are killing people right now to get work in the door, so try to get someone you know and can trust to look at the car for you... Good luck...

When I worked at the Dodge dealer back in the day, whatever list $ was it cost the dealer half that.

Go negotiate one there,
