I just realized i was sucking up alcohol and maybe air in my SMC system. The bottle kept losing fluid and my car was acting funny so i plugged the little hole on top to see what would happen. Well it imploded the bottle. No damage, but a definate answer as to whether it was pulling anything from the tank. It is mounted lower than the injection point. I have it tapped directly into the intake manifold. So, I did a search and someone said there is an anit-siphon valve available somewhere. Where can I find one of these and where do you plumb it in at?

Siphon??

Is the car a hotair?? If you have the nozzle in the intake and it's NOT a hot air and had no check valve, that's the wrong place to put it. It should go B4 the TB, not after. Move it to the up pipe from the IC or call Steve. He has a kit for hotairs that will cure the problem>>

not really a hotair

It's a twin 5.0 Mustang. There should be just as much vaccuum in the piping shouldn't there? Anyways, It's in the intake and can't be reversed. I actually like it there. I will call steve and see what he has to say. Thanks for the reply.

steve has a solenoid that you can put in that activates when the pump kicks on.about $50,mine works great.

thanks

Great!! I e-mailed him about the situation. Now I know what is needed and about how much. Just need him to respond. I'm sure he is a very busy man and I heard he is also recovering from and accident. Thanks fellow turbo guys.

update

I just talked to Steve on the phone. What a cool guy. He hooked my up with what I need. We talked about his accident. If you have any kind of weak stomach, don't listen to it. He says he is doing pretty good weeling around the shop. Anyways, thanks to all who helped answer my question.

no problem, good luck with it.let us know how it runs when you get it sorted out.
