Help...I was going to attempt to do this on my own ,but we just recieved the call and our hous eis sold and we have to be out in 6weeks ,since having 2 jobs leaves me with NO time ,I need someone ,,,please refer me to anyone capable of this .....want it done right or I will have to do it myself...
Thanks
Dennis :) :)

Might try Dennis of ProTrac Racing. I know he is pretty busy this time of year, so I'm not sure if you'd be able to get in or not. He is the one with the stage 2 motor in the blue 88 Mustang GT. He is near Joliet. PROTSRACE@aol.com

I can do it - if you can get the car to my house. I am in Elmhurst.

Whats the going rate on a headgasket change these days? ;) Just going with regular gaskets, correct? You gonna buy the parts? We going to use ARP rod bolts (my preference...)

Both heads need to be changed (or want to be changed?)

Let me know.

Dennis keep me posted on what your going to do. My engine is almost complete. Maybe I can help you if your going to do it yourself.

Street Performance (Gary Oswald) quoted me 6 hours some years back, not sure what his rate is now though. I haven't dealt with him in a long time, I've heard he's moved to elk grove village, his number is (847) 823-0035

OK, that sounds good - ARP head bolts? I know some people like them, I am just not a big fan of the TTY bolts.

What happened to the motor? I just want to be sure you didnt blow a gasket and run a bunch of water through it, such that I finish that gaskets and find the mains are toast....

And about the porting - do you already have it apart and need it reassembled? Or do you need me to pull the heads, you get them, send them out for porting, and then I reassemble? Thats fine - I just need to know a timeframe that the car will sit in my driveway....

I will do it for somewhere in the $500 range.... And it WILL be done right.

I don't think rod bolts are gonna be long enough to hold the heads down. But thats just me..... ;)
