I have installed the DFI on a 00 Ford Mustang Gt. Everything seems fine but the car is in safe mode(It will not rev. past 2,000 RPM. I have changed the ecm,ign. module,and checked all the OHM RESISTANCE. on all the wires. It is not advancing the timing. It shows up on the lap top to be advancing but, the car is staying a 20 degrees(What the DFI reads it as) timing. You put a timing light on the car and is actually at 10 degrees (The DFI retards the timing to 10 as kind of a safe mode.) I have to have the car running by thursday,please any help would be great, hopefully it is a minor problem email or call 920-362-7001 Thanks TURBO BUICK.COM(My buddies tell me it may be the blue oval that is my problem)
