I am no stereo wiz so please bear with me. I took this system from my Typhoon before I sold it now I want to put it in my GN. This system was in the truck when I bought it.
As follows:
Alpine 1310 CD changer control/head unit
Alpine 3566 6/5/4/3 channel amp 30W X 4 - 60W X 2 4ohm
Alpine 3555 4/3/2 channel amp 50W X 4 4ohm
Alpine 5957S 6 disc changer
Alpine 3399 EQ in visor
2 - 10" Boston Acoustics 8.4 LF subwoofers
I left the dash, door, and rear speakers in the truck when I let it go. When it was all together, it rocked like heck in that Typhoon! At least, I thought so. But like I said, I'm not a stereo wiz.
What should I do as far as speakers go with this system? What will I need for crossovers and stuff like that? I'm sure I need some sort of box for the subs but I don't want it big and gaudy.
How do these components rank with today's stereo equipment? I feel like this stuff is about 5-7 years old. What's it worth? Thanks in advance, Craig
