Need help

OK guys, starting to get some of my parts. First off, I need to know what the stock maf is capable of. What does the map sensor on our cars control?<--This maybe a stupid Q, but, that is why I am asking. I am going to run a pt6765rh what do you guys(as experts) think I HAVE to have to be able to run 18-20lbs of boost??? Other than injectors, chip, and Methanol.I have valve springs, good aluminum rad, pat's converter(31-3500), WG, turbo. Getting soon: TT chip & 60#'s, and meth kit.

Please need as much feedback as possible I would really like to have the car running in about a month or 2

I would upgrade the 85 ECM and MAF to the 87. The MAP sensor only controls the idiot boost gauge in the dash. The meth kit from Razor will have a 3 bar MAP. Get a knock gauge, powerlogger, walbro 340 fuel pump hot wired and an adj fuel pressure reg. Good luck. Brad

So that turbo won't outflow an 87' maf?? Do you have a link for this power logger??

So you think all I will HAVE to have is an 87' MAF and ecu??? I plan on a WB for sure!!

The size of the turbo does not effect the MAF. The powerlogger can be purchased from Fullthrottlespeed of Turbotweak. Good luck- Brad
