need help

i need to know the vaccum line sizes that go the the wastegate selenoid on an 84 GN i think mine are off im getting way too much boost. another thing is how long is the selenoid arm suppose to be? when the car is off should the wastegate be open or closed? at the moment mine is closed and its kind of hard to stretch the arm until it reaches the lever is this too short? i'de appreciate the help

The wastegate should stay shut until you hit the preset boost level. If you're getting too much boost, lengthen it so there's less spring tension. Don't know about the vacuum line sizes, I switched over to the 87 wastegate a long time ago.

I believe the lines are 1/4", and like cool84 says, try lengthening the actuator rod to see if that helps! One turn is roughly 1 psi boost..
