NEED ID help???'s

I just bought a GN and the tranny went out. I just pulled it out and Noticed the converter wasn't a D5 it was black and had the # 6 or 9 stamped all around where the d5 would of been. It was a lockup before it quit. But, What is it????

OK, What other info do i need to look for to help identify it?
Cmon, I know somebody here knows?
