Ho do you guys lift the body of without flex? I have a hoist and its ready to be lifted just have no clue where to lift body. Info or step by step would be greatly appreciated

We used engine hoist extended. Lifted from the air box opening in front and the trunk latch hoop in the rear. Did this a couple times with no noticeable damage to the tub. Got the body up on jack stands onto a 4x4 cross beam one time or square stock another time. Used something between body and beam to provide grip. Then just rolled the frame out and lowered to small trailer. A couple pics for you.

If you are concerned about damage .... I think at door hinges etc might provide better support on L & R. A lot more stable maybe. I'm sure someone has more expertise to add.

Some other advice picked up along way - get some kind of rust blaster worked into the body bolts and get them all out before trying to separate the tub. Didn't have to do that last part twice! "Duh." as my kids would have said.
