Hey, guys i have a question and hoppfully you can help. My gn has bone stock motor with some bolt ons it has ta49 40#injectors, duttweiler fmic, adjustable fpr test pipe kenne bell ultimate chip, cat back exhaust. Everything else is stock including down pipe. I laid waste to a t-type that ran 7.60 in the eighth so i guess this puts me in the 7.50 category. The thing is when im on the higway playing around my gn seems to peter out around 70 or 80 do i need more add ons or to adjust something?

Im no master tuner but i think it is 13-14#s after the turbo was installed and i brought it home i never tried adjusting anything not the fuel pressure or the turbo. Im more afraid of messing it up!

14 psi is what your feeling.the kb chip had alot of timing for the 14/15 psi.the 49 will pull real hard up top with 22/25 psi.you are only moving x amount of air at 14 psi.now dont go raising boost without octane and getting a chip that you can lower the timing.

the 49 wont run 7.50's on 14 psi.that 7.60 car probably has his dialed back due to lack of octane.

7.50's is in the 11's so hes right the other car is detuned or lack of octane.. get yourself a chip from eric at www.turbotweak.com[/quote] Ok, so i add the turbotweak chip will that adjust or (turn up) the turbo with some high octane pressure or do i have to adjust the turbo from under the hood? Also what about the fuel does it need to be turned up by hand or will the computer do it ? thanks!

Put the chip reset computer and adjust fuel to 43# drive and let computer learn. Set boost to 14 and tune from there. Leave fuel alone. You can adjust in chip if needed
