Need new flywheel where to buy?

Do our cars require any special flywheel for a car in the 650+ hp range?

I pulled my converter to have it repaired for leaks and in the process I noticed the welds are failing on the ring gear. Very poor quality welding on the flywheel.

I think I should just get a new one rather than welding it up and no way to check the balance.

Any recommendations?

Stock is good for low tens so 650 hp stock is o.k. but if you have the convertor out change it its good insurance
Aftermarket j&w the wheel works in high hp applications do yourself a favor and dont weld it just replace it. Just buy from one of our supporting vendors.
