Ok I talked with Bison and he thinks that the 4.1L cam bearings have a bigger O.D dimension than the 3.8L cam bearings, but that they both have the same I.D diameter. Does anyone have a set they can measure and give me a definant answer? Long story short, some of you know my engine crapped the bed , and I need to line hone the cam bearings to fix the warpage that was caused by welding the front of the block. I feel that it needs a line hone to be 100% right, and dont want to take any chances with "it should be ok" when refering to my current bearings in there that had to be "massaged" to get the cam in the block:rolleyes:

bearings

All 4 -4.1 bearings are the same I.D. and same O.D.
The 109 blocks take the same bearing as the 4.1 @ # 2 and 3.
The 109 take a .020 larger O.D. bearing @ # 1 and 4
