I have some important questions for Phil. I had my 4.1 sonic checked and in one area it is 159 thousand's thick. I don't know if it is safe or not. Most of the other areas are 200 thousand's. Does anyone know?

btw, It's Phil Verhaeghe...

I haven't talked to Phil in maybe 2 yrs...He sold his GN before that and got into doing other things(ATV riding, and was still in college at the time)...I don't have any idea on how to get ahold of him anymore...

Try posting a question on the gnttype list to Frederick Breitweiser(I think that's his name)...Phil learned alot about building the 4.1Ls from him...Seem to remember Phil maybe mentioning Kendall Frederick's name too(might be wrong on that one)...He hangs out in the Stage Tech forum on this BB...Also, may post right here and ask Lee Thompson...He had a production block 4.1L in his hotair before moving up to a Stage motor...They might be able to help you some with your questions...

I'm not sure, but Phil may still be on AOL...try emailing him at lcgn@aol.com ...the first letter is an L in his email address...

Hope this helps you somehow...

I called PT&E and got an answer from Dan there engine specialist. He said it should be alright. So I have the green light for the block.
