Need pricing help on 84 T

I found this 84 T on ebay and wanted to get some opinion on price. I have talked to the guy cause I asked him questions and he asked me to call him. Seems he was driving the car yesterday and it has developed some kind of engine noise. He is not sure where from but was gonna bring it to his mechanic and see what he said.

Don't go by the price in the auction. I want to know what you would pay for that car with an engine noise of some sort.

All help is greatly apprreciated.

I smell a bad deal. I personally would never by a car without seeing it in person and driving it. Be patient- there are better deals. My 2 cents. Brad

I am in no rush and will not buy this one anyhow as I know he is gonna want way too much.

Wish I could find a deal like my original 84 Designers car. Bought it for 2200 back in 92 with 69k. Needed paint but was an awesome runner. Miss that car. Had PW P/Seat Astroroof Concert Sound and electronic air. Had no P/Locks,Cruise, Digital Dash or tilt.
