need shift kit to make 84gn valvebody work in 87gn trans

had my 87 trans rebuilt but shifts like crap I think the valvebody is hacked beyond repair

I have a stock 84gn trans that I would like to take the valvebody from and put a shift kit in it



what do I need to do this

Just a shift kit. It will work. Not a big issue at all. It should be of BQ code. No big deal. Make sure you get the govenor too tho.

do you meen from the 87GN or an aftermarket one

Use the one from the 84 with the 84 bq vb in the 87.
