Seen a check on here that entailed putting your fingers under the egr valve and lifting up on it to see if it returned to its resting position under its own spring pressure. Well mine did but it's chock full of black greasy shit. What does that mean? And I have an RJC power plate. If my egr were leaking, would that plate stop it as it has the "egr block off" in it.
Also tried my old FPR because I finally got the pressure loss to replicate itself today. I tried relieving the fuel pressure before the job by doing what I read on here, which was to pull the fuel relay when the car's running. Well I pulled my plug and the car kept running. Does anyone know how this can happen?
So I did the other trick I learned on here and pulled the fuse instead. When I pulled the rail gauge and FPR there was still the same amount of fuel as there was when I did this job a while back without relieving the fuel pressure. Lol. Why does everything I read about on the internet never work in real life lol.
