Need some help on leaded fuel

Would like to know if, .25 of lead, in a gallon of additive, mixed with 9 gallons of unleaded fuel, would do any harm to a heated 02 sensors?

Yes...

But how much is REAL hard to say. It's cumulative. Running leaded won't immediately hurt the O2, but after some period of time, they get "lazy", and inaccurate. Less lead, slower to show problems. Some folks say the sensor will get better, after running on unleaded for a while, others say the damage is permanent. I guess the only thing everybody agrees on is that any amount of lead does some damage.

02 sensor

I am running a heated 02 sensor.I have run 60 gallons of 110 leaded over it and it is still giving reliable readings.I have been turning the key on and waiting 1 minute before starting the car.Another member told me that lets the element heat up and the lead does not stick as well.It seems to work.Thee are some other posts about a Denso 02 that is not supposed to foul from leaded gas.Bruce
