Need to strip my intercooler..

Anyone have any good fast methods of stripping our intercoolers down to bare aluminum? Is there any type of chemical i could just spray on it? or brush on it and use say, a hard bristled brush to agitate it off?

If you know someone that does heating and air conditioning in houses. they have stuff to clean coils. my buddy did a set of rims that i had that were beyond dirty. sprayed on and hosed off
