Im going to try and pull my tranny right now and throw my D5 in, but I cant find a stock pump. The guy at Kragen doesnt even know what Im talking about, and i didnt see it listed on his computer. Heres the question- Is it possible to run a non lock converter with a stock pump? What if the guy that threw this converter in, did that, and just eliminated lockup electronically? (the purple lockup switch wire was removed from the connector). So, if I throw my D5 in, and it happens to have a non lock pump in it, will it still work ok, with the exception of having no lockup? I want to make sure the car will still drive if it has a D5 and a non lock pump in it. Is there anything else Im going to NEED? I cant spend 12 bucks a day on gas any more. This converter is killing me.
