Thanks let me know I need this bad from what I am told when I am out beating on the car the oil is getting over 350* - 400* ! Not a good thing at all.
Thanks again !

How hot does the engine get? Is the rest of the cooling system up to snuff to keep the temp under control?

Believe there are plenty of folks without an oil cooler and no problems...

Oil cooler was removed Why I still dont know Im sure there was some HP reason for it lol All I know is the oil cooler is going back on my car last summer when I got off the Freeway (Was going a little fast lol) and after beating on the car the eng oil temp was Over 450* and pushing the 475* Range when I pulled away from the light. averages 375-400* Just driving At a track day my oil got so hot it was like water when I checked it! Not good at all! and Oil pressure fell down below 5lbs!

The Colant temp never gets over 170* ever even in trafic with the a/c on! I also replaced the water pump last year. A/C is now gone but has a front mount but still dont see any issues with cooling other than the oil getting way to hot for me.
Again related to some bone head removing the cooler :(

Maybe the oil cooler was thought to have trash in it ...I'd hate for you go through this trouble and contaminate your oil..Those plate-style coolers can't be flushed 100%..I hope it works out....
