New aluminum calipers

At least new to me. Saw these in "Drive" mag at the barber shop today.

Aluminum stock replacements. MUCH less than the SSBC ones, but I don't think they're 2-piston like the SSBC.

They Look Good But Does It Help Braking Power In Any Way.

I don't have any firsthand experience with them, but here's a guess based on what's on the website.

Stock piston size = no difference in braking power. BUT, being made from aluminum will shave some weight from the front end, and they ain't 22+ years old and rusty. The mfr. also claims higher strength, so if that's true, less deflection in the caliper is never bad.

for not too much more than the cost of just those calipers, you can upgrade to bigger 12" Corvette or LS1 Camaro brakes with lightweight 2 piston PBR calipers.
