I was able to pilot Mike Fujitas 87 GN twin turbo street car to a new best time of 8.57 @ 163 mph. This was done in 90 deg. temps and the elevation at LV speedway. The car went on a slight diet since it left Michigan, now weighing in @ 3500 lbs. The car should turn low 8's in street trim when the boost is turned up.

These times are possible thanks to Dan Strezo for building another bullet proof motor, Joe Lubrant's tune up and Precision's Turbos making huge HP!!!

:D

Dave, that's good to hear that the twin turbo car is still kicking ass now out on the West Coast!

BTW, I heard that the stock block car was out testing:D Do you plan on being at Reynolds??

We will have the TSM car out in the spring possibly making it to Bradenton. At the top of the list is setting a new world record for the fastest AWD Syclone. We should have the new rear end installed this week and heading to Norwalk Friday for some t&t.
I will keep you posted!

For reference, our handheld weather station computer told us that the corrected altitude was 4000 ft el. + on Saturday. Highest was about 4300 ft elv.

On Friday night the lowest we read, even with the breeze was 3400 ft elv.

Nice job Dave. That car is awesome.
:D

Last I heard, they were working on some R&D on a 85 hot air block.

Thanks Louie, It looks like I am slowly catching up to you in the wheelie department.;) :D

Mike and his pro stock buddies used the NHRA correction factor for a turbo car, the run was corrected to 8.27
