I'm very excited to pass along my new best times from Bowling Green Saturday night. The only thing that was changed or added was a 3"dp ( can't mention the brand, but I was one of the few to get it ) from an un-ported stock elbow and budget 3"dp. Previous best was 12.28 @ 108.9 and 12.28 @ 106.6 with old dp and elbow.

Drove 2 hrs to the track, mounted my slicks, went to the staging lane and clicked off an 11.87 @ 112mph :D . Followed that up with an 11.89 @ 111, 11.83 @ 112 and 11.79 @ 113.5mph. Those were on 23psi and 25*. There's more in it, hopefully an 11.50, with some more boost and a touch more timing. Had a couple of slower runs, a 12.17 @ 110 and 12.56 @ 109. The 17 was a bad launch and the 56 was getting out of it cause the car pulled to the right after launch and the back got wiggly so I had to get out about the 330' mark. But all in all it was a great night!! BTW, my 11.79 pass netted me a 1.61 60' time, on stock suspention and 2 air bags. Here's a couple of links to my timeslips( 3 per page )

First 3 slips

Second 3 slips

BTW, I'm number 19.

congratulations!

you will see 11.50 with that combo....just be careful because you will be on the edge, injector wise

No, Bruce says that the stock turbo can peg out 55's. He's probably out of fuel already with that 52 and doesn't know why it's not detonating. :D

Hahaha
You and your BS.

Odd you run 55s and then tell everyone else to run smaller injectors.

To bad you suffer from such selective reading.
Easy to slide past facts and go into your babbling

Ya, just because your so lost doesn't mean everyone is.
Feel free to try an guote things accurately, like I said you really look foolish when you act so petulant.

Congrats, Donnie! (thought I'd try to get us back on track here! ;)

Donnie good runs. Now it is time to start tuning! You have allot left. Look for low 11's with that set up.

seriously Donnie, if you can launch that sucker....low 11's will be there (with a touch more boost...)

what kind of gas? you didn't do that on alchy did you?

Congrats D. Keep working at it. You should go deep in the 11's with that combo.

Keep us updated.

Congrats!

I'm hoping to join the 11 second club this season, too, but the weather really hasn't been cooperating.

What fuel and tires did you use?

Way to go Donnie!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Now, just imagine what your MPH would be if your vigilante was a multi-disc locker!!!! You'd be up there with me ;) ;)

CONGRATS!!! That must sure feel good knocking the door down that much...

I hope to have a post like this after the 14th so I'm crossing my fingers... XXXXX

ks:cool:

Thanks everybody for the kind words!! I agree that there's some more left in it, with some more tuning and more boost.

I used 5 gallons of VP 115, still had a couple of gallons of 93 left in it though. I wanted to run on the alky, but the pump is on the blink and I have to send it back so Steve can fix it, but that 12.280 from the last time out was on 93 and alky. It should go high 11's on it ( alky ) but I don't want to push my luck, or headgaskets;) , that hard on it.

Tires were 28x10.5x15 et drags, they hook!! Had 14psi in each.

Launches were 8-10 psi.

FWIW, my base fp was 46 psi line off, and I added 1% richer at wot with the T+ and on the 11.79 pass through the traps 02's was 760 on the nose. I still have plenty of injector;)

Thanks everybody!! I ran what I did from all of your info that's been posted here since I've been a member for the past 3 years and I've learned something from literally everyone who has responded to this post. I appreciate all of you!!!
