New carpet from ACC

Went to the sema show last November and visted the Auto Custom Carpets. I spoke to a rep there and asked what they had for the 80s vehicles and what materials and styles, i was told the essex material is what i was looking for. The rep also said since i attended sema i was able to take advantage of a 50% off anything i ordered! The total i spent was $440 for my new black capet with the essex upgrage, which is the more dense carpet, with mass backing. That is the extra molded material under the carpet that keeps the molded shape without moving or wrinkling. In other words i got the very best capet possible for my GN.

Same with the floor mats with the added power 6 logos. Over all i could not be happier and the material feels and looks similar to the carpet that are in some mercedes.

If i would of paid full price i would have paid $840 total with shipping!!

Im sure they sell the cutpile carpet that is very similar to the stock look and feel. But the option i got which is the essex is the custom option when ordering.

Essex is a $126 option and added the massbacking for another $106.

Ive could of saved a lot more but the quality would not have been the same and it still would look like what i have now.

yes i just looked up there site and they offer the cutpile standard with essex upgrade total would be 378 for the Gbody , not really sure why you would want it if the car came with cutpile , the limited came with a hairier (had some longer fibers) carpet than the GN which may be what they were trying to do with the essex but i wouldnt want that if cutpile is what the GN came with

when I did mine , I went with acc with mass backing think it was only 190 bucks for the correct GN carpet and it looked identical to my worn out old original one

For the standard black carpet cost is $252 essex option $126 mass backing $106 total $484.

Mats $136 essex option $68 power 6 logo $56 total $256

Total $740 50% off $370 plus shipping and taxes put me at $440.

I have a mercedes and this is very close to that. Not everyones choice but thats what i was looking for.

Ive bought carpet in that past for another gbody and the quality that i was told was stock for our cars was disgusting.

Sure not many people would spend that amount but i did and im pretty damn happy with the carpet.

Just wanted to share that with people in case anyone wanted something nicer for there vehicle.
