The spacer from Don came with NPT holes front & back & plugs to close up which ever ones you decide not to use . I opted to use front NPT connections into push lok fittings

No push connect fittings on my car, but when we do need to convert push to connect to rubber hose we use a 1/8”npt adapter to a 1/8”npt hose barb fitting
