Just received my fuel pressure gauge along with the schrader T valve. Was wondering if I needed to add anything to the threads before connecting everything up?

I thought someone posted this question before, But I cannot find it. Thanks!

I've never had any problems with my fuel pressure gauges without anything on the treads. Both cars have had gauges, and neither had the teflon tape or paste.

I think both ends are flare fittings. If so (the fuel rail is a flare fitting for sure), then the flare is the seal. roc87 is right.

I thought so, but I thought I check with the others who's been there done that!

Thanks Guys!

The only thread seal you may need is if your using reducers or separate fittings to attach to the flare fitting. I see alot of gauges that need some fitting to match up with the flare fitting! The actual conection to the rail should not need sealer.

I put some teflon tape on to my gauge threads, but none on the fuel rail.
