On Ebay last week I saw that a GNX with 497 miles (I think) sold to a guy for $42,xxx. I noticed his screen name was XXXXXXX.
There is a local guy named XXXXXXXXXXX (name protected in case of midnight shoppers) that used to have a real nice GN .... he sold it a few years back. I was curious if it was the same guy so I went to where he worked. His buds there told me that he was in fact the buyer.
It was XXXXX's day off but they phoned him for me and he brought the car down.
That's the first time I've looked at a less than 500 mile GNX. Absolutely immaculate.
It's number is 005 and XXXXX told me that 002, 003, and 004 went to Buick corporate mucky mucks and that 005 was the first one that went to a dealership. The dealership was the largest one in the U.S. somewhere in California and the dealership owner snagged it for his own collection. Now ready to retire the guy put it up on Ebay and Brian was the high bidder. He drove 20 hours straight, put it on a trailer and brought it back.
So now Spokane is one of the lucky cities with a GNX.
