First let me say what an excellent site you have here. Now w/ my dilemma  . Ive got a 87 GN that i know nothing about. The engine is out and at the machine shop, the heads are being rebuilt, and im looking for a few things. The stock turbo needs to be replaced or rebuilt, and im really looking to upgrade but im not sure what to get. My engine mods are a new crank, mild cam(unsure of exact specs), forged pistons, and 42# injectors, w/ a stock tranny and stock stall. My question is what kind of turbo do you recommend to me w/ what i have? I want more power but dont want to destroy anything. Also, whats a good stall? Im not planning on continually racing it, but i want a good setup. What else can i do to the car to make it a little quicker thats not that drastic?. I know nothing of turbos or buicks as im a ford guy by trade, and this is the first car ive owned w/ an auto tranny. Any help would be appreciated, and im looking forward to the reassembly of my car next month. Any help is GREATLY appreciated, thanx in advance... Jay

IMO

I think a te44 is a great street turbo,it will spool good with the stock D5(2400)stall.Will also run great for a run at the strip,I ran a 11.6@117 with a te44 and a 2800-3000 stall.

A 9/11 2800-3000 stall is a great converter and would recomend it if you have the $$ for one.Like i said the D5 is good but a little more stall with that turbo and hold on!!
