was basically given an 83 Regal last june from a guy from church.
He said he was selling his buick Regal, and me, being a 16 year old, heard buick and immediately thought grandpa car. he pulled up in it and i knew i had to have it.
I've had it for a little over a year now. He definitely left it with some problems, but with the exception of the floor panels starting to rust out, the body is in GREAT shape along with the interior. Under the hood is where it starts getting weird, considering its a GN hood not the stock regal. The previous owner felt the need to drop a 350 from a 68 LeSabre into it, dont ask me why. He did put in an Edelbrock 600 carb though. I cant complain though, it still pushes great. I've had it for a while and loved every second of it. I'm the only Regal at my school and proud of it!:D I plan on eventually hitting the track with it and blowing some minds, not that i already havent stoplight to stoplight ;)

Welcome aboard but...I'm going to hurt your feelings slightly. 1983 was the one year that the GN wasn't produced. 82 is the first then the name was tied up in court for the next year. 84 was the next year up to 87. The hood bubble is an indication af a T Type though.:biggrin: The fact you have a Buick V8 in it is great. One of the best torque motors out there.

yeah, its actually just a regular Regal but the guy who had it before me put a GNX hood on it. its fun, kindof in hibernation for the winter but i'm storing it in a friend's garage who is a veteran drag racer, so when spring high school drags hit the beast is coming out
