New guy with some basic questions

My 86 gn is stock except for 3.5 maf pipe,k&n cone,2800 stall,adj reg,walbro with hotwire,#36 injectors and a matching chip.I just added the injectors and chip and the car is not running right.It will only go up to 14 pounds of boost and then kind of sputter and hesitate before it shifts.With the stock injectors and a pitbull chip it would run up to 18 or 19 pounds of boost and then spin the tires pretty good going into 2nd.I am new to this ,have I overlooked something?Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check fuel pressure. GO to gnttype.com and do the spring clean. There is a lot of good info on there to help get you going.

Check for valve spring if the are stock you need to change it
be careful with atr pitbull chip it have a lot of timing in

Did you buy the injectors and chip new, or are they used?
Maybe it's a bad chip or misfiring injector.

check your o2's at wot see if your rich also what fp is the chip set for

2 suggestions to check

1. Make sure the injectors are not leaking in the ports.(spray starting fluid around each injector and see if the idle jumps up. If so leaky O-ring)
2. check the injector harness to make sure u didnt damage a wire during the switch. I did that and shorted out an injector making it stay wide open. Both of those happened to me at different times. Good luck.
