Hey all my name is Greg Frede and as of this past weekend I am the proud new owner of a 1987 turbo limited rosewood t-top car....Im 18 years old and have been brought up around these cars. Let me give you some of my background so you can better understand that although I may fall into the category of a "young punk" I am very respectful to others and try and absorb any tidbit of knowledge I can aquire. I am not new to turbo cars being that I also still have a 91 eagle talon tsi awd auto that I have been tinkering with...I have always hoped to one day end up in the driver's seat of my own turbo buick. My dad has an 87 silver tr that I have been introduced to at a very early age....My uncle has a chestnut brown (doodoo brown) 87 limited as well as a slightly built 70 GS 455 and has had many a turbo buick. My dad also has a 71 440 GTX that he was getting reckless ops in while I was in my baby seat in the back. So needless to say domestics have been bred into me through genetics and I aquired a taste for powerful imports throughout the years myself...anything that is an engineering marvel peaks my interest as well as anything with gobs of power...This rosewood car is in very good hands as I plan to one day give it a full ground up restoration and will retain the stock look with no butchering of the car being in the plans...just some fattys out back with some 245's in the front running high elevens is my goal for the car...and from what I know about turbo buicks is very easily obtainable
Just thought I would introduce myself to try and get started with my training
Thanks
Greg
