New member. Rescued a 86 turbo t

That was a price for a trans and converter. That converter is about 1k on it's own. You're going to find that these cars don't have too many cheap parts.
Glad the converter was in the trunk. Asked the previous owner it's a never installed 2800 stall converter.

WOW !! What a rescue with no Deductible.. I'm very passionate about these cars, and have own one for over thirty years.. For a car that has
been setting in the elements for 16 years , believe it or not it doesn't look that bad " I have seen worse ". But for free heck yeah (y)(y).
Oh' Yeah Welcome to Forum. And with a little TLC and some DEEP POCKET and the Knowledge of members that Turbo/ T VIn # will be back
in circulation and maybe on CARFAX :):) .. Good Luck.
 
I cleaned more on the car. I bought a steam cleaner to try to deep clean the interior. Gotta give her a 2nd exterior wash getting the tree gunk off and alot of bumper sticker glue.
