I am sending my GN for paint soon and wanna get different ideas. What did they do, base coat, clear coat, single stage?

What do you mean? I just got those last year. I am a factory wheel fan. I just like the T Rims better than the GN Rims. Can't see in the pics but I actually have Turbo 6 Centercaps on them that I customised.


I do not know much about the paint except that it is PPG. They did an extremely thick primer, then laid down the black and did three coats of clear, then sanded that.
It was not an expensive job by any means, nor a true reto job,(didn't have enough $$$) But I had them fix some rust and I wanted the car all one shade of black. They did a killer job though. New owners had bought a body shop in town and wanted to get some stuff out on the street, so they gave me a reduced price. They far exceeded my expectations.

Me too!

Except that I'm running 215/65's on the front & 275/50's on 8.5 Vectors out back.
