New PTS TC Solenoid, but no install directions?

Has anyone got the install info or directions for these, I don't want to wire it backwards. There is also a brass fitting, and shims that I don't know what to do with.

ok...

Shims go under solenoid to case as it is longer and needs to be shimmed. Second..... red wire to red wire.....then ... Black wire to black wire. Somehow I thought it was self explanatory. Guess I was wrong...... Hehehe BT

I'm sure that it would have clicked and been self evident if I was under the tranny looking at it before I ask. I saw where the diodes could be knocked out if wired backwards, so I wanted to have all the info before I started the teardown. Sorry to be a dumb f, but better safe than sorry.

On a side note, what would cause the tc not to lock after the tranny gets hot? Car has FAST and has manuel lock switch.
