The box clearly states a skill level of 2 is needed.
Somehow he has gotten through quality control like so many other people and products have these days.

OMG I've had mine a few months. But hadn't had time to build it yet, but I just saw this and had to go see if mine was the same kit. Yep! So then I checked all my metal models, at least they are correct.
