Okay, after kicking the alky idea around for a while I've decided against it. I know it's a great way to make ridiculous boost on pump gas, but I'm REALLY reluctant to rely on my car's electrics to keep the head gaskets on. It's just uppity electric-wise.
SO what I'm thinking is the same TE-44, 009 injectors combo but with a front-mount IC. I'm boxing my lowers in the off-season too, so that should help the launch.
I read a post a while back about people running much more boost on pump gas with a front-mount. I also just read the "500-550 HP" post and decided that I can live with "only" 400+ or so on the street. I can always throw in racegas and crank up the boost at the track.
Anyway, thoughts on this combo? Any idea how much boost (approx) I could probably run? THX...my goal is to be LOW 12s in street trim, thx!!

I hate to break it to you,but we don't run more boost with a FM.Max on pump 93 is usually around 17#.A FMIC blocks the radiator causing the motor to run warmer. That is why it's important to use a 160* t-stat.Cylinder pressure stays the same so the octane requirement is still a concern. They do make more power by dropping inlet temps and allowing a denser fuel to air ratio. They typically are worth about 30hp.You will make more power with the same boost.

Hey, thanks for the info. I could've sworn people were running more boost due to a post made a while back. And it made sense to me because a cooler air charge I thought would fend off detonation, and allow for a small amount of additional boost.
But thinking cylinder head pressure...more air in a given volume with a fixed compression ratio, that makes sense that you'd still need more octane. If anybody else has some input, it'd be appreciated. Thanks a lot! Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving.
