New to the site, PICS inside

Hey everyone, I initially came to the site looking for an 8.5 rear and man this site is awesome. I don't have a G/N, have an 83 Monte SS with 64,xxx original miles with a 468. I have already met several really nice people like Prasad (wickedv6) and Nick (trymy231s). Here are some pics of my car btw, definitely going to be staying around this site because I love G bodies and would love to get a G/N for a driver/strip car....Ross

Great looking Monte man, whats the combo and performance on that 468 if you don't mind me asking? My dad and I are about to pull the 468 out of his chevelle and doing a little stouter build up. Stick around and maybe the lil turbo v6 bug will bite

As of now it has about 5 min of runtime on it, no numbers yet. I came here looking for a rear for it b/c it still has the 7.5 in it now. The motor is a 468, solid roller (710 lift), 13:1 compression, ported gm heads w/2.30/188 valves, brodix intake, 1050 dominator. 700 hp. BTW, I definitely want to get a turbo 6, I wanted one before I started my first project years ago and just haven't got one yet. I will though, that is a promise

Wow very nice monte, you dont see people with monte's that care for them the way it looks like you do. well a GN is a GN nothing can really compare. yeah get rid of that 7.5 rear it will go so fast especially with all the power that motor will be putting out. good luck this site is great. you will look fwd to Fridays due to acme
