Just had trans rebuilt and a new convertor. It has a stage right trans brake.
If i back up at a low idle it will work. When I raise the rpms, then it tightens up or wants to lock up. Could this be the trans brake? The reverse and first working against each other? It goes forward fine and the trans brake locks up in first. I have only been back and forth in the drive way.
